STUDENT LOANS
If they learn nothing else while attending college, make students learn RESPONSIBILTY so they willingly pay off their student loans—without any help from our government/taxpayers! The government needs to stop pandering to those who want an easy way out all the time because they claim to be emotionally fragile. Students need to finish college, get a job, pay their student loans, scrimp and save and sacrifice to build their future like all of us responsible American citizens did before them.
RACISM
Barracudas feel most Americans believe race relations are always improving, while many on the Left are driven to divide races through constant attacks and bogus accusations. While there is always work to be done to improve racial harmony, any individuals or organizations found to be guilty of race-baiting should be subject to being exposed, investigated and possible criminal prosecution. Americans should be encouraged to support each other, not divide each other.
NATIONAL ANTHEM
The United States of America recognizes only ONE National Anthem. ALL citizens should be proud to be united by our National Anthem. If you hate our national anthem, we strongly suggest you find another country to live in.
IMMIGRATION
Barracudas are all for LEGAL, controlled immigration. But first—we must secure our borders. Anyone caught entering our country illegally should be deported immediately and forfeit their ability to enter the country legally for a period of twenty years. Any U.S. governmental official/politician enabling the illegal entry to our country by foreigners should be prosecuted for treason. The United States government has to place STRICT PENALTIES on MEXICO if THEY fail to STOP the onslaught of illegals breaching our border. The RepubloCRATS have been allowing millions of illegals to cross our southern border for decades. It’s time for Americans to DEMAND strict, iron-clad border protection policies from our politicians! Finish building THE WALL—then use our National Guard to aggressively protect our borders.
LAW AND ORDER
Strictly enforce law and order. Promote respect for police and the rule of law. A civilized society cannot exist if anarchy is allowed to proliferate. Unless uncivilized humans know there will be a strong reaction to their crimes and violent actions, they will continue to be a threat and danger to law-abiding citizens and businesses.
Ending “Criminality as a Lifestyle” choice in America is one of our goals. Some on the Left are financing judges and prosecutors from coast to coast, and they, in turn, are letting criminals go free or get off easy. This is how the Left is implementing their brand of “Criminal Justice Reform”. NOT prosecuting offenders and letting them go free IS NOT the answer for a civilized society. Unfortunately, the Left is intent on subverting real justice in America. Truth in sentencing should also be mandated. No time reduction for good behavior. Good behavior should be expected. If crime in America continues to increase, hey, simply BUILD MORE PRISONS. DRUGS
The way illegal drugs pour into the United States makes it seem as though our government officials must be complicit in allowing this to occur. Does our government think drugs are good for humans? No one can think drugs are good for humans. Drugs are for emotionally weak individuals. Drugs wreak havoc on individuals and communities. The last thing a nation should be doing is allowing so many drugs to devastate our citizenry. Drugs like fentanyl have greatly contributed to creating the outrageously high number of homeless zombies that have changed the landscape of too many of America’s cities. Citizens should be taught from grade school on that drugs are for losers and that they destroy the lives of all who become dependent upon them. The drug trade can be shut down by enacting extremely harsh and swift penalties, including up to the death penalty for anyone caught importing, distributing and selling illegal substances. Drugs are for dopes, folks.
NARCOTICS NATION
Based on a long history, there doesn't seem to be a ‘cure’ for drug addiction. With the U.S. government doing little to stop the flow of drugs into America, it is incumbent upon parents and schools to protect their children from ever trying drugs in the first place. Children must be taught to recognize and stay away from any kids with bad character. Children need to be taught self-respect and that taking drugs would have the most devastating effect on their health, happiness and futures.
Ideally, drug prevention should be taught in schools so children learn to never feel weak, or vulnerable enough to want to start using drugs. The dangers of drug use and addiction should be clearly taught. A positive self-image and personal discipline must be taught and encouraged so these impressionable, young people have the will power to reject any pressures or temptations to use drugs even one time. Kids should be taught that “Drugs are for Dopes”.
Individuals who are predisposed to using drugs like to say they have an addiction, and characterize their addiction as a disease, or a mental illness. A disease or mental illness might not be the most accurate descriptions of drug abuse.
A more apt term to describe this affliction is a ‘mental challenge’. People using drugs clearly understand that drugs negatively affect their lives and the lives of those around them. This is more than enough evidence that they must change their mindset and behavior to not be interested in using or needing drugs. Yes, many human beings are self-destructively mentally and emotionally weak—but they can and must learn to change their mind about using drugs before the drugs alter their brain chemistry to a point where they lose control of their brain function. Individuals need to figure out how to manage their behavior to quell the desire to use drugs.
People throw the term ‘Free Will’ around, and in the case of using drugs, this phrase applies. People who start using drugs have exercised their free will to do so. Once their drugs become habit forming, those people must now exercise their free will again—to stop using drugs. No one can counsel them into stopping drugs unless and until THEY decide to quit using drugs.
So the real solution to the problem of drug abuse lies in the individual. No government or anti-drug laws can implore someone to not use drugs. Measures, such as, say cutting off the flow of drugs into our country, and establishing severe penalties for drug traffickers, can help slow the drug epidemic, but personal responsibility to stop using is the key.
Legalizing drugs is the most irresponsible and dangerous idea as it legitimizes and condones drug use. The best way to help people is not to assist them in managing their drug use—but to help them manage their mind to not want to use drugs. But again, the longer an addict uses, the harder it is for them to combat chemistry that has been altered in their brain. The rise in homelessness is proof of how devastating drugs are to humans. The majority of those living on the streets are drug addicts, or quickly become drug dependent. The key is never starting.
People with a compulsion to use mind altering drugs must be taught to manage those compulsions. This requires extreme discipline on the part of the user. And it requires a governmental zero tolerance policy to find and eradicate the drug traffickers—so drugs are no longer accessible. Ending the drug epidemic starts in schools and stops with the arrest and prosecution of all involved in the drug trade.
Imagine if no one had any interest in using drugs, it would solve so many criminal and social problems.
POLICE
Many insane democrats have been calling to eliminate or ‘dismantle’ entire police forces across America because they believe police are unfair to certain individuals. Barracudas believe that whoever police interact with, if they over-step their power, they SHOULD BE held accountable. But the democrats want to ‘reinterpret how we do public safety’. Instead of having trained, armed police officers patrolling our streets and neighborhoods, they want to implement “community safety ambassadors“, unarmed, untrained regular folks who walk the streets trying to politely talk criminals out of committing their heinous crimes. This is why we say democrats are insane. That just is NOT rational thinking at work. NOW HEAR THIS: Police departments should be defended and fully funded. Police officers should be held in high regard. Verbally abusing or taunting police officers should be considered threatening behavior and disturbing the peace and be an arrestable offence—punishable by mandatory jail time. Children should be taught to respect and obey the police. Misguided adults should be taught to respect and obey the police. America needs borders, police and law and order.
EVADING, ELUDING, OR FLEEING THE POLICE BY VEHICLE
It’s time to end dangerous police chases through city streets and highways. Are you listening, California!? If police light you up, you should be allowed ample space to pull over—say within 1 mile maximum. If an individual decides to disrespect the police and fails to pull over within 1 mile, mandatory incarceration penalties go into effect for all the subsequent miles the idiot perp travels. So if the perp travels 2-5 miles before pulling over, they can look forward to 2 years in prison. If the perp flees for 5-10 miles, they can pack for a 4 year jail stint. If the perp continues fleeing for 10 miles+, they can expect a relaxing 6 years in the big house. Those are penalties just regarding fleeing. Additional charges and prison time may be piled on. Being intoxicated, higher than a kite, or just plain stupid are not excuses for not pulling over in a timely fashion.
CLIMATE CHANGE
YES, the climate IS changing! It is—and has been changing—for all of history. BUT man has no impact on climate change—and never has*. As George Carlin stated years ago, the earth is doing fine and will be here long after all of us are dead and gone. The absurd hysteria the Left keeps promoting that the earth will cease to exist in 12 years—has been going on for decades! Every 12 years pass by and voila—the earth is still standing strong! Stop listening to the bogus scientists who are on the Left’s payroll. Start researching what actual, honest scientists say about climate change/global warming. * (2025) In recent years, the world has experienced intense rains and flooding, tornados and hurricanes. And again, much of that has occurred naturally, with no impact by man. ABORTION
The Barracuda Party® is Pro-Life. That said, the rights of women to control their own bodies has to be respected—so making abortions legal within the first trimester would be open for discussion. The Barracuda Party® strongly opposes any government/taxpayer funding or resources for abortion, specifically Planned Parenthood.
TRANS ATHLETES
All individuals should be allowed to fairly compete in the sport(s) of their choice. Therefore, it is time for Trans athletes to have their own sports leagues. Trans athletes should never be allowed to compete against women in any form of competition—and especially in the Olympics.
ELECTIONS
Allow for traditional absentee voting especially among military personnel. Mail-in voting should be outlawed and voter ID cards should be mandatory. Only U.S. citizens should be allowed to vote. The Barracuda Party® has always promoted the idea of making elections a national holiday, showing citizens how important election day is! State voter rolls should be reviewed and updated annually. And, anyone convicted of election tampering/fraud should be sentenced to a minimum ten-year prison sentence.
CONGRESS REFORMS
— Congress salaries should be cut.
Representatives are to ‘serve’ the people, not get rich.
— Eliminate pensions and drastically reduce other benefits.
— Impose term limits!
— Congress to use same health plan they institute for all other Americans.
— Congress ‘sex crimes legal defense’ cost no longer paid for by citizens.
— Make lobbying (bribing) a criminal offense.
