BFA - 'Do Something' Fine Art Tee

$28.00

“DO SOMETHING” is an original image from Bullet’s photography/digital design series, Abstract Urban Expressionism. Bullet photographed hundreds of mutilated billboards across New York City between 1978 and 1984. With patches of old posters showing through the tears in the more recent posters, these billboards are time capsules, like miniature archeological sites whose distinct layers preserve the chronology of past events and styles, and make it possible to compare them with the present. To further accentuate the concept of change over time, Bullet layered multiple billboard images over each other, then digitally peeled away the surface image to reveal elements of the images below. These abstract collages of old and new imagery achieve their ragged beauty through a combination of chance and deliberate design. This unisex tee is printed on heavyweight 6.1 oz., pre-shrunk 100% U.S.-grown ring spun cotton. Double-needle coverseamed crewneck, 7/8” lay-flat collar. Shoulder-to-shoulder taping, double-needle sleeves and hem. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery as this design is produced on demand. Bullet Fine Art signature logo printed on upper back. Machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry low and remove promptly. Do not dryclean or iron graphics. U.S. sales only at this time.
